The bent aluminum base holds the wood panel at an angle. The phone attaches at the magnetic mount, set into the circular cutout in the wood. The charging cable runs through a dedicated channel at the back of the base instead of hanging loose.

The base has non-slip pads. The phone detaches and reattaches with one hand.
